This list is NOT intended to be a complete guide to the Internet, because the closest thing to those already exist.
This list will list some of the sites that
- I have found to be useful/enjoyable/applicable AND/OR
- fall into categories that I'm often asked about AND/OR
- fall into categories that I think others might be interested in knowing from a source other than 'those' (and some of 'those' lists can get quite long) AND/OR
- are absolutely wonderful non-personal sites (if you are looking for my friends' personal web sites, go here).
I will try to comment on which ones I've actually tried, as opposed to the ones I've heard about or barely visited.
